Solar + storage for the first time in Arkansas

A 100 MW project featuring the state’s first large-scale battery storage system has been announced in Arkansas. The project will be developed by a subsidiary of NextEra, and the power bought by Entergy Arkansas.

Financial software integrates distributed storage software

Financial modeling software provider Energy Toolbase will integrate Stem’s energy storage modeling software to help communicate the economic benefits of storage at customer sites.

Shell moves to acquire Sonnen

In May, oil giant Shell invested in battery maker sonnen. Now the 112-year-old company wants to fully acquire the business.

Cypress Creek to sell 580 MW of projects to British infrastructure company

The five solar projects that are being sold are located in North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas. All five are expected online by the end of 2020.
