Aggreko’s 1 MW battery system, Conti Solar rebrands: pvMB 5/14/19

Aggreko launches 1 MW modular battery system – Aggreko has officially launched the Y.Cube, a fully integrated, 1 MW lithium-ion battery system. “The system can cover a variety of applications from 1 MW up to multi-MW power output and is available in two versions: a 30-minute “power” unit and a 60-minute “energy” unit. The 20-ft container houses batteries, inverters, heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), fire protection and auxiliary components… It is designed for a wide ambient temperature range from -20°C to +50°C to match the often-challenging requirements of remote customer sites.” Source: Aggreko

Conti Solar rebranding – “Conti Solar, a national solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), O&M and energy storage development company, announced today a new corporate identity. The organization will be known as CS Energy, and the rebranding will encompass a new logo, tagline and web address (http://www.CSEnergy.com).” Source: CS Energy

First solar buggy with AC launches – Daymak has developed the world’s first solar powered, fully enclosed mobility scooter, the Boomerbuggy X. The buggy also features air conditioning, an alarm system, stereo, back up camera and shopping bag cargo space. Models range from $6,000 to $9,000 Source: Daymak

Spectacular Solar and Skyvue partner up – “Spectacular Solar, Inc. (a Nevada Corporation) (OTCPK: SPSO) is pleased to announce that the company has agreed to terms and has entered into a joint venture with SkyVue, LLC… SkyVue will aid in solar system maintenance by combining thermal imaging technology and drone technology, which can detect dead modules and panels on the cell level and can determine the degradation level of each module.” Source: Spectacular Solar

Scout Boats goes solar – Scout Boats, a boat manufacturer out of South Carolina has partnered with local developer Hannah Solar Government Services for a solar system that will power both the company’s fourth manufacturing building and an additional 65 homes.
