Governor Brian Sandoval signed Senate Bill 145 and several other bills late last week that will help re-establish a thriving solar industry — and encourage other renewables efforts in the state — after two years of regulatory repression.

The company’s partnership with Sunetric will allow customers to lease solar+storage systems as a package, which will allow them to participate in the island state’s “self-supply” program.

The solar developer says most of these early-stage projects are 10-100 MW in capacity, primarily in California, Texas and the Southeast.
