We are now beginning data collection for our eighth annual National Solar Jobs Census, the most respected national benchmark for solar jobs research. If you work in the solar industry, take a moment to fill out the survey now!

This report analyzes solar jobs data and workforce trends at the national, state, and local levels. For the past two years, it has also included an interactive map of solar jobs available at SolarStates.org. For the solar industry, the Census serves an indispensable role in understanding the impact of solar energy development and the rapidly growing solar workforce. Our ongoing research has been vital to charting the meteoric growth in American solar jobs and how upcoming policies could impact that growth.

This year, the Solar Jobs Census survey will allow us to not only assess and analyze employment trends, but also understand potential impacts of the proposed tariffs and other policy developments. Solar jobs have rightfully been a central data point in the ongoing debate over the trade case. We need to hear directly from thousands of employers to measure company policy priorities, industry demographics and trends, and other key information about today’s workforce.

Your participation and responses to this survey will not be made public and only non-identifying group statistics will be used when reporting results. Follow this link to complete the survey: www.bwresearch.com/pl/TSF

Once you’ve filled out the survey, we hope you’ll consider partnering with us to support the Solar Jobs Census along with the rest of our work. You and your company can play an important role in making sure The Solar Foundation has the resources it needs to fulfill its mission and undertake this influential research. Sponsorships start at $1,000 and in return, we expand visibility of our sponsors through social media, case studies, and other strategic branding opportunities. To learn more about sponsorships, contact me directly at aluecke@solarfound.org.
