As a result of the closing of the Panasonic Eco Solutions’ Solar America (Sanyo Solar) facility in Salem, Oregon, a wide array of solar processing equipment, and broader factory assets, is going up for auction on May 9th. And this week, the company auctioning off this equipment has released more details on what is for sale.
Some of the key items include:
- (67) Ferrotec Single Crystal Silicon Growers, Model FT-CZ-2008
- (7) JCM Squaring/Slabbing Band Saw, Model JBS-500SCNA, 2009
- (2) JCM Cropping Band Saw, Model JBS-100-650NA
- (9) JCM Grinding Saw, Model JG-500NA
- Ingot Stocker
- Intego Ingot Inspector
- Kawaskai Robots
A complete list of the 923 individual lots up for bid can be found here. All items currently have a single bid at $25 placed.
Noted in this article’s ‘Featured Image’ is a lonely ingot still waiting to fulfill its purpose and be processed into wafers.
The facility and its equipment recently sold for $7.7 million to New York based Reich Brothers Holdings in mid-March, which has chosen to auction off the equipment piece by piece.
