The MAC Steel underwent a 600-hour accelerated salt spray corrosion test confirming that it has higher resistance to corrosion, compared to typical galvanized steel products used in the solar industry today. “This product allows for our trackers to stand the test of time, giving them durability and functionality,” says Hong Ki Kim, CEO of SAT.

The PST-1AX6 horizontal single axis tracker has high installation flexibility and can be adapted to either 60 cell or 72 cell modules, resulting in a high module count per specific area and much less land usage.

“We couldn’t be more proud of our engineering team who worked so diligently to achieve this recognition,” Kim says. “We employ forward-thinking products and technology, and obtaining the 3703 certification allows us to continue supporting our standards of quality and safety for our customers,” he says.

Sun Action Trackers is a full line manufacturer of solar tracking and racking systems that offers bankable solutions to commercial and utility scaled projects in the U.S., and worldwide. The company’s PST-1AX6 single axis tracker and its PST-2AL dual-axis tracker use Real Time Solar Sensing technology which is used to capture maximum production.

SAT is jointly owned by OCI Solar Power, also of San Antonio, a developer and owner of utility-scale and distributed PV, and by Paru, a tracker maker based in Seoul. SAT has adapted solar tracker designs by Paru for applications in the Americas.
