New York invests $11 million to fund community microgrids
Winners in State 2 of the NY Prize Community Microgrid competiition will receive $1 million through the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority to engineer and develop plans for microgrids to bring local clean energy generation and backup power to their communities.
New York makes $10 million available for clean tech incubators
This adds to the $14 million the state has supplied to incubators since 2009, assisting 146 companies.
