Registration to the American Solar Energy Society’s (ASES) 51st Annual National Solar Conference, SOLAR 2022. The theme of this year’s conference is “Energy Transition with Economic Justice,” and focuses on an equitable renewable energy transformation. For this conference, ASES is partnering with their New Mexico Chapter, the New Mexico Solar Energy Association (NMSEA), who is celebrating 50 years of achievements.
The conference will take place June 21-24 at the University of New Mexico campus in Albuquerque and will also be accessible virtually on an online platform. SOLAR 2022 will highlight the important ways we must work together to ensure all communities benefit equally as we transition to a renewable energy economy. We invite you to register by March 31 to receive significant early bird discounts on conference passes, events, workshops and tours.
We are also offering a special JEDI Scholarship for young professionals to receive a complimentary registration to the event. You must apply by April 15. Additional volunteer opportunities will be available soon.
The 51st Annual National Solar Conference will share research and information through technical sessions, ~switch presentations (a fun, rapid-fire format), forums, posters, and more. We will be welcoming everyone to the conference at the Opening Reception on Tuesday, June 21. The Reception will feature the father of modern linguistics and most cited scholar in modern history, Noam Chomsky. The Reception will also feature poems by local poets Beata Tsosie Peña, Jimmy Santiago Baca and Hakim Bellamy.
The conference will feature three keynote sessions throughout the week:
The technical sessions include topics such as Community Solar – Grassroots Efforts, Grid Integration & Energy Storage and Equity in Financing and Investment. Additionally, the conference will feature a celebration event for NMSEA’s 50th anniversary, a tour of Sandia National Laboratories solar research facilities, NABCEP registered workshops, a Women’s-Only PV workshop, and much more.
ASES is excited to host another hybrid solar conference in order to bring together stakeholders from around the world. All of the sessions will be live streamed for you to watch in real-time, and then they will be available later in a recorded format.
Sponsorship opportunities are available until May 1, learn more and purchase sponsorships at ases.org/conference/sponsor. You can also partner with the conference by filling out an online form by May 15.
There will be a lot of networking opportunities available in this year’s hybrid format for all attendees. Join us online and/or in-person in Albuquerque for the summer solstice at SOLAR 2022! Register online for the best rates to the hybrid conference by March 31, 2022.
RE+ brings the modern energy industry together to foster a cleaner future for all. The largest and most comprehensive event in North America for the clean energy industry, RE+ is comprised of: Solar Power International (our flagship event), Energy Storage International, RE+ Power (including wind, and hydrogen and fuel cells), and RE+ Infrastructure (electric vehicles and microgrids) and brings together an extensive alliance of renewable energy leaders for multiple days of programming and networking opportunities.
RE+ sets the standard for clean energy events as the fastest growing and largest solar show in North America, as recognized by Trade Show Executive and Trade Show News Network. RE+ has also been among the Gold 100 for ten years running and has previously been named “Best Use of Technology” and “Stickiest Show Floor” by Trade Show Executive for the innovative ways in which attendees stay engaged — the only solar and storage event to receive such a distinction.
Focused on accelerating business growth by uniting the energy marketplace for networking, education, and innovation to move the industry forward, RE+ Events supplies your company with solutions that further your success.
RE+ held its inaugural show as “Solar Power International” in 2004 to bring together the people, products, and professional development opportunities that drive the solar marketplace. The event has since evolved alongside the industry, bringing together an extensive alliance of clean energy leaders to become the largest gathering of energy professionals in North America. Today, the multi-day event boasts 19,000+ professionals from all segments of the industry, over 700 exhibitors, and 110 countries.
Developed by the nation’s leading solar energy organizations, the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) and the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), RE+ reflects an ongoing entrepreneurial approach to renewing best practices across the clean energy landscape as the marketplace evolves.
Unlike other industry events, all proceeds from RE+ events support the expansion of the energy industry through SEIA and SEPA’s year-round research and education activities, and extensive advocacy and advisory efforts. Our primary mission is to deliver on the missions of both SEIA and SEPA in a way that strengthens the industry domestically and globally, through networking and education, and by creating an energetic and engaging marketplace to connect buyers and suppliers.
The success of RE+ is heavily driven by the two non-profit membership organizations behind it. The partnership between SEPA and SEIA, through their joint ownership of RE+ Events, has resulted in the creation of a robust suite of business and education opportunities for the solar industry. RE+ Events organizers and speakers will strive to create a welcoming, collaborative environment for all attendees and stakeholders. At times, contentious issues are discussed at RE+ Events. These debates make the industry stronger and facilitate the healthy exchange of ideas in a collegial setting. All RE+ Events speakers will strive to present balanced perspectives on all issues in a professional, constructive manner.
