Arevon Energy, Inc., a leading American energy developer, owner, and operator, today announced the appointment of Justin Johnson, the company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), as Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective February 20, 2026. Johnson brings more than two decades of experience across renewable energy development, construction, asset management, and operations. Since the company’s inception, he has played a central role in shaping Arevon’s strategy, scaling its operating platform, and expanding its national footprint. He will continue to serve as COO while assuming the responsibilities of Interim CEO, ensuring seamless leadership and operational continuity. Kevin Smith resigned from his role as Chief Executive Officer, effective February 20, 2026.

GreenSpark Solar and Encore Renewable Energy have completed a 13 MW DC agrivoltaic community solar portfolio across New York and Vermont. This three-project portfolio marks Encore’s first completed project in New York and GreenSpark’s first completed projects in Vermont, reflecting the continued growth of community solar across the Northeast.

The projects combine solar power with active farmland through sheep grazing, preserving agricultural use while providing affordable, locally generated energy to ratepayers. The portfolio demonstrates how multi-state collaboration and a values-aligned EPC partnership can deliver high-quality, community-centered clean energy projects.

Standard Solar procured 512 megawatts (MW) of safe-harbored solar module inventory ready for deployment for development projects, as a strategic move to safe harbor development projects in need.

This collaboration dedicates a demonstration and research zone within the Mammoth Solar project to advance agrivoltaics, strengthen rural energy resilience, and support farmer-focused innovation in Pulaski and Starke Counties.
