Generation Sun partners with Frontier Baseball league – There’s nothing better than a sunny day at the ballpark and Generation Sun will be there for those sunny dog days, ad the company has partnered with the Frontier Baseball League, America’s oldest independent baseball league. Throughout the season, Generation Sun kiosks will be set up in the stadiums of the Windy City Thunderbolts, the Schaumberg Boomers and the Joliet Slammers. Source: Generation Sun

 

Town asking for donations to build solar park for veterans and low-income customers – The partners of Ecolibrium3 are asking for donations to cover the remaining costs of their planned 40 kW solar installation in Duluth, Minnesota. Once completed, 25% of the power generated will be supplied to veterans, with the developers looking to open the rest up to low-income residents. Half of the project’s estimated cost, $95,000 has been covered by Minnesota Power’s  low-income solar pilot program. Source: Duluth News Tribune

SunShare brings on-line 8.2 MW Minnesota community solar – 8.2 more MW are on-line within Minnesota’s prolific community solar program thanks to SunShare. The company has announced the completions of its SaintSun (6.9 MW) and ZumbroSun (1.3 MW) community solar projects. The projects consist of six community solar gardens which will power 1,200 residents as well as Saint Mary’s University. Source: SunShare
