Two agrivoltaic solar facilities in Maine will provide the state with low-cost energy while bolstering the local agricultural industry.
Hyperion will invest more than $297 million in the new facility in Columbus, Ohio, where it will manufacture its next-generation hydrogen fuel cell, which will power its new line of stationary and mobile energy storage products, including its XP-1 hypercar.
The solar and polysilicon equipment maker hasn’t said what will become of its Merlin cell interconnection technology or its Hyperion ion implant technology.
