JLM Energy Hires two former SunRun execs for key sales roles

JLM Energy, a renewable energy and energy storage technology company is growing its leadership team, adding four new vice presidents, including two former SunRun Execs. Poised for significant growth, the company has added more than 20 new employees during the last year.

Farid Dibachi, Founder and CEO said, “We are building a world class team at JLM Energy. Kraig and I are excited to have assembled a team of seasoned leaders to accelerate our culture of innovation and our passion for delivering value to our customers.”

“Scaling and managing our rapid growth over the next few years is our biggest challenge,” Dibachi said. “The overall industry is anticipated to have explosive growth as more states add time of use charges, or end net metering for solar customers. With our leadership in place, we are prepared to accurately manage this exciting growth process.”

The emerging energy storage market is being driven by improved energy efficiency, the declining cost of solar and enhanced energy storage that is made possible by improved battery technology, creating a huge benefit to consumers. Federal tax incentives for solar plus energy storage systems are currently available for up to 30% of the total cost.

Additions to JLM’s leadership team include: 

Kellyann Lamb, Vice President Partnerships 
Kellyann leads relationships with strategic business partners and channel partners. Kellyann joined JLM after six years at Sunrun where she was instrumental in growing the channel sales network and bringing solar to the mainstream consumer.

Emmitt Summers, Vice President Residential Sales 
Emmitt spearheads JLM’s residential energy storage market with an immediate focus on Arizona, California and Hawaii. Prior to joining JLM, Emmitt was the VP of Sales at Sunrun.

Bob Montano, Vice President Operations 
Bob leads production, manufacturing and supply chain and he interfaces directly with customers to deliver JLM’s solutions in an optimal manner. Bob has served tenures at JDSU, Nelson-Miller, Apple and Hewlett-Packard.

Ellen Howe, Vice President Marketing & Corporate Development 
Ellen is responsible for all marketing activities and discovering new business opportunities.She comes to JLM after serving at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and opening new markets for two security technology companies.

These leaders join Nathan Newsom, JLM’s Vice President of Enterprise Sales, who has been with the company for 5 years.
