The company’s acquisition of SunEdison’s wind and solar are helping to bring its balance sheet back towards the black.
The aggressive, bipartisan legislation to pursue renewable energy in the state follows an Xcel Energy announcement that it put 32 MW of community solar projects online. These plans for renewables come at the same time a bill makes its way through the legislature that would snuff out Minnesota’s solar incentive.

The solar market’s leading online marketplace moves beyond residential solar to benefit from a market expected to encompass have of distributed PV installations by 2020
A recently completed solar+storage project at Green Mountain Power’s Stafford Hill Solar Farm project shaved enough August peak energy use that Green Mountain Power is saving $200,000 from its annual bill from the New England grid operator.
SOMO Village, a $1 billion mixed-use community in Rohnert Park, CA., is adding another 2,500 solar panels plus storage to reach a new total of 3.1 MW of PV; this third PV expansion is being supplied by REC Solar, along with an initial 1 MW of storage supplied by Green Charge.
Through a partnership with Geostellar and Together, the Progressive National Baptist Convention will offer community solar programs to communities where their churches are
