Ohio Gov. DeWine signed off on sweeping changes to the state’s energy policies, which include a repeal of the solar energy credit program.
Despite previous failed attempts, Pennsylvania’s House passed a bill to authorize community solar and natural gas programs to a state with surging energy demands but sluggish energy growth.
The bill enables customers of investor-owned utilities to subscribe to community solar.
Following a suppressed 2022, community solar is expected to have an upward trajectory, boosted by new state laws, the implementation of billions in grant money from the Inflation Reduction Act, and the smoothing of bumps in the supply chain.
