Sol-Up USA is also proud to spotlight Zach Helms as the Head Solar Engineer. Mr. Helms has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all things solar. He holds many accolades, including a Master’s Certificate in Renewable Energy, OSHA30 certification and NABCEP PV Installer certification (#PV-102415010994). He has also been certified in Advanced Microgrid in Off-Grid Battery Design from SEI, Solar Energy international. His experience is extensive and includes working on these off-grid battery chemistries like Tesla Powerwall, SimpliPhi Power, Pika, and an assortment of other off-grid chemistries.
In addition to his success in the solar industry, we honor Mr. Helms as a disabled veteran. He proudly served our country for 13 years while being enlisted in the Army’s Infantry Branch. He served with 101st Airborne based in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky and he served in Iraq from 2004-2005.
