SepiSolar launches ‘Ask SepiSolar Anything!’ webinar series

Veteran solar+storage industry engineer Josh Weiner, CEO of SepiSolar, will host a live interactive video-call-in version of Reddit’s “Ask Me Anything.”

Similar to “Car Talk,” each month Weiner will use his 15 years of NABCEP-certified solar and energy storage experience to answer verbal or text-based questions from participants about various technical and financial topics of the solar and storage industries.
In the first edition of “Ask SepiSolar Anything,” on June 13, Weiner will answer questions about energy storage for all sectors and applications. Solar contractors considering their first battery installations will benefit from Weiner’s insights on specific storage technologies, market pricing, LCOE/LCOS and other economics, rate design, design, O&M and more for a full hour. Questions not answered online can be answered via email after the event.
Josh Weiner has designed and engineered solar+storage products and projects since 2004, consulting with NEXTracker, Green Charge Networks (purchased by Engie), Akeena/Andalay Solar, NRG Home and many other leading solar EPCs, developers and contractors. His experience includes battery storage design, engineering, financial modeling, permitting, as well as acting as a technical advisor for net energy metering policies for solar+ storage. Participants can also ask Weiner about various lithium-based chemistries and other types of batteries, such as flow batteries and flywheels.
Ask SepiSolar Anything will take place on the second Wednesday of every month with a new topic each month. Future episodes of Ask SepiSolar Anything will include other expert guests from solar, storage, finance and policy areas.

To be a part of the first-ever Ask SepiSolar Anything, participants will need to preregister at www.bit.ly/AskSepiSolar and join the webinar on June 13, 2018, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Pacific, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern.
