SunPower by Venture Solar is opening a second branch this month. The company currently operates through their offices in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, and serves all five boroughs of New York City, and Long Island. In September 2018, Venture is set to spread out and start operating through their new offices in Long Island as well.
VENTURE SOLAR’S EXPANSION TO LONG ISLAND
After expanding their service footprint to Long Island earlier this year, followed by opening a warehouse on the island, setting up an office there was an organic next step for the company. The new physical location on Long Island allows the solar installation company to better serve the LI market and our growing customer base on LI.
SunPower by Venture Solar is a local company, which does all of their work in-house, ensuring that their customers get the best possible service, combined with the best technology in the world. Venture Solar employs a team that is motivated by a unified cause of bringing solar to as many homes as possible.
This expansion to Long Island also means that the company is looking for new talent. Venture Solar is set to install over 15 MW of residential solar in the next 12 months and plans to hire 40 additional employees over the next 6 months. The company is looking for environmentalists with a student-mentality to join their ever-growing team.
MAJOR VENTURE SOLAR MILESTONES
In the 3 years since it was founded, SunPower by Venture Solar has grown exponentially. Venture installed their 1000th solar installation in New York City in 2017 — a major milestone. Earlier this year, Venture Solar began servicing Nassau County and Suffolk County.

Earlier this year, Venture Solar won two major SunPower Awards. The ‘Residential Regional Dealer of the Year’ award honors SunPower residential dealers in select regions of the United States that consistently put customers first, while demonstrating exceptional industry knowledge and leadership, and the ‘Residential Regional Top Producer of the Year’ award honors the SunPower residential dealer that has the highest shipment volume in their region of the United States.
