Costa Mesa, California, Feb. 3, 2025 — Sungrow North America, the leading solar and battery energy storage supplier with headquarters near Los Angeles, announced it has donated $25,000 to the American Red Cross to support California wildfire relief and pledged $100,000 to the organization’s Ready 365 program for ongoing disaster relief across the country.

Sungrow’s headquarters in Costa Mesa are so far unscathed, but employees and their families are among the millions of people whose lives have been disrupted by the fires.

“At Sungrow North America, we believe it’s of the utmost importance to give back to the communities in which we serve,” said Hank Wang, President. “That’s why, at the beginning of this year, we announced new goals to support local communities, especially in times of crisis. Now, with fires wreaking havoc in our own backyard, this commitment is closer to our hearts than ever.”

“We’re grateful to have the American Red Cross as one of our partners. They have an unparalleled history of providing rapid and effective disaster relief, and their mission aligns perfectly with our longstanding values of community support and sustainability.”
Since the California wildfires broke out, the American Red Cross has been at the frontlines of relief efforts. The organization mobilized quickly to provide shelter, food, emotional care, and financial assistance. Thus far, the organization has provided more than 124,000 meals and snacks with the support of our partners and nearly 13,000 overnight shelter stays.<
