Solesca is now approved by the California Energy Commission
The California Energy Commission(CEC) has added Solesca to its list of approved Solar Assessment Tools for Title 24. Developers and EPCs can now use Solesca to generate the required shading report as part of Certificate of Installation – quickly, confidently, and without extra steps.
The CEC’s Staff Review and Analysis (Publication No. CEC-200-2025-017) recommends certification of the Solesca assessment tool for the 2022 Energy Code. To reach this decision, the agency reviewed projects of varying sizes and geographies modeled in Solesca. CEC validation means that solar companies using Solesca can now be approved through permitting in the state of California.
Solesca is a pre-CAD solar design solution for C&I and ground mount projects. Non-technical solar developers can create layouts in minutes and generate accurate energy estimations. Teams have already evaluated over 100GW of projects in Solesca. Compared to alternatives, Solesca offers all the familiar tools solar developers rely on, but goes further with fixed, affordable pricing, the ability to handle projects of any size, and no restriction on project amount. All the while with features like auto walkways, auto snow/soiling loss, battery storage, and new feature release on a weekly basis. And the same hour responds to the concierge service
Solesca will soon launch its engineering solution – automatically generating Single-Line Diagrams and full Plan Sets, plus request electrical stamping in-app across all 50 states. We’re also rolling out a partnership to support bankable simulations. Stay tuned.
