pv magazine and Finlay Colville have launched Solar Manufacturing USA 2026, a new two-day conference created to put production and technology at the heart of U.S. solar manufacturing.

Taking place in Austin, Texas, on September 22 & 23 the event has been developed to address the technologies, equipment, production strategies and long-term roadmap now shaping domestic solar manufacturing in the United States.

Solar Manufacturing USA 2026 combines pv magazine’s technology-focused editorial platform and established events and webinars activity with Finlay Colville’s long-standing authority in PV manufacturing leadership, creating a new conference format built specifically for the changing needs of the U.S. solar sector.

The launch comes at a point when U.S. solar manufacturing is moving into a more demanding phase. The first wave of activity focused on capacity announcements, factory openings and initial production line output. The next phase is increasingly defined by how production lines are specified, how factories are built and run, how technologies are selected, how quality is benchmarked, and how the sector defines a credible long-term roadmap.

Across two days, Solar Manufacturing USA 2026 will examine production volumes and strategic investments, U.S.-led solar cell innovation, benchmarking U.S. solar factories, upstream manufacturing across polysilicon and wafers, the build-out and operation of domestic factories, next-generation solar technologies, and the industry roadmap to 100 GW by 2035.

The event website is now live, with the full two-day agenda available to view. Super early bird pricing is also open, alongside a group offer for companies planning to attend with teams.

Eckhart Gouras, Managing Director, pv magazine group:
“US solar manufacturing is entering a new phase, and we believe it now needs a dedicated conference built around technology, equipment and industrial execution. Working with Finlay Colville allows us to bring together pv magazine’s long-standing editorial focus on the sector with deep manufacturing expertise to create a platform tailored to the needs of this market.”

Finlay Colville, Founder, Terawatt PV Research:
“After a deluge of capacity announcements and intentions, the U.S. solar sector is keen to understand what is really happening with production volumes and technology selection in recently built factories. Solar Manufacturing USA 2026 is designed to address this head-on, giving companies a platform to explain these developments directly in the kind of professional technical conference setting that the U.S. market deserves.”

Delegates can now visit the event website to view the agenda, register interest and secure super early bird pricing.
