SolarKal, a commercial solar energy advisor and brokerage, announced that their NYC headquarters has relocated to downtown Manhattan. This comes at a time of rapid growth for the firm, with new brokers coming on board and the addition of satellite offices in Florida and Massachusetts. SolarKal also strengthens its sales force with the addition of two solar brokers, Iftach Mutai and GP Caminiti. Iftach launches SolarKal’s Florida presence and GP is a new Senior Solar Broker covering New Jersey. SolarKal was also recently accepted into Massachusetts’ Greentown Labs, the largest clean technology incubator in the country.
Looking to drastically reduce their high electricity bill, the Parry Poultry Farm installed a 275 kW PV ground-mount system. In addition to financial protection against rising utility costs, the new system doubles as shade for their free-range chickens, increasing the amount of time they can graze.
