Buffalo, NY — February 17, 2026 — National Energy Development (NED) is proud to announce Ty Baccile II as its new Partner & Chief Development Officer, bringing 15 years of execution‑focused experience advancing solar and energy projects throughout the United States.

Baccile joins NED after serving as Director of Solar Development for New Energy Equity, where he led complex community solar and distributed‑generation portfolios across multiple markets. Known for his ability to unlock stalled projects and drive disciplined execution, he brings steady, solutions‑driven leadership at a pivotal moment for the industry. His arrival comes as the national market continues to evolve under the OBBBA framework, creating new opportunities for responsible, community‑centered development

With deep expertise spanning the full project lifecycle—early‑stage site identification, interconnection strategy,  permitting, real estate and diligence work, NTP execution, and construction readiness—Baccile has built a reputation as a professional problem solver who can take projects from concept to completion with precision and integrity.

In addition to his development work, Baccile serves on the Board of Directors of the New York Solar Energy Industries Association (NYSEIA), where he actively shapes state policy. His advocacy focuses on interconnection and permitting reforms that streamline development while ensuring solar projects remain community‑driven and environmentally responsible.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ty is a longtime Upstate New York resident, grounded in his faith and family. He is a husband, father of three, and an active volunteer at his church and in his community. He and his wife, Kat, love hosting friends and family, coaching youth sports, skiing, and following auto racing

“Ty’s leadership, integrity, and deep technical understanding make him an invaluable addition to our team,” said Jim Bodecker, Co‑Founder & Chief Business Officer at National Energy Development. “His ability to navigate complex regulatory environments while keeping community priorities at the forefront aligns perfectly with our mission and our future.”
