Edison Energy, an independent energy advisory and solutions integration company for the nation’s largest energy users, today announced that Rob Federighihas been appointed to managing director of commercial market sales. In his new role, Federighi will drive the revenue growth in this key market segment for Edison Energy’s broad range of advisory and energy service offerings.
“Rob is a highly seasoned sales professional with proven experience in working with some of the country’s largest commercial organizations,” said Allan Schurr, president of Edison Energy. “Rob will lead our commercial industry sales effort, working across all of our operating units to drive the growth of our Energy-as-a-Service offerings in this important market vertical. We’re very excited to have someone with Rob’s experience assume the sales leadership role of this important part of our growth strategy.”
Prior to his new role, Federighi was senior vice president of sales at SoCore Energy, an Edison International company, and one of the nation’s leading developers and operators of commercial and distributed solar generation. At SoCore Energy, he led the company’s growth of its commercial solar rooftop and ground-mounted business, winning contracts with some of the country’s largest organizations – including the largest system ever constructed by FedEx Ground, a 2.7 megawatt project in Hagerstown, Maryland. Prior to joining SoCore, Rob worked at global real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield, where he specialized in environmentally green developments and worked with clients to acquire and lease multiple creative loft-office redevelopments.
Federighi holds a master’s degree in commercial real estate law with a focus on sustainable development from the John Marshall Law School. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in finance, with a focus in commercial real estate finance.
