DeSol Power Tiles introduces its product to the solar market

DeSol Power Tiles, LLC makes it easier than ever to upgrade home efficiency, reduce carbon footprint, and improve property values – all with aesthetically pleasing tiles that resemble a
regular roof. Manufactured in the US, this unique, affordable solar roofing system can be used right over the top of an existing roof, or on a new build.
Integrating design and functionality, this patented system uses roof tiles, not solar panels, so it won’t affect the aesthetic or architectural appeal of the roof. With a simple, flat design based on
the classic Nordic style, DeSol roof tiles will complement a home or business with a completely sealed, walkable surface that covers the entire roof.
How It Works
The DeSol solar roof system captures sunlight, and an inverter converts it into current that can be used in the home or business. An electric panel feeds the energy from the inverter to the
circuits. An electric meter monitors the energy usage, so excess power can be sent to the utility company, while the owner receives energy credits. DeSol Power Tiles have a 17-watt
monocrystalline solar panel with an output of 3.10 volts per tile.
Flame retardant and manufactured in the US, solar tiles from DeSol Power Tiles are designed to withstand hurricane conditions if installed as instructed. A professional roof contractor must be
responsible for mechanical load calculation (including wind and snow load) according to the roof design. DeSol Power Tiles are UL580 certified to 35 pounds per square foot.
A solar roof installation from DeSol Power Tiles is 100% passive. Unlike wind energy systems or heat pumps, there are no moving parts that require technical service or maintenance.
Offering high quality and extensive support for buyers, roofers and contractors, DeSol Power Tiles will guarantee its solar tiles for 30 years for performance and durability. Color is
guaranteed for 10.
