[Toronto, March 27, 2019] – D. E. Shaw Renewable Investments (DESRI) today announced an agreement with Heliolytics Inc. to implement advanced aerial inspection and DC management techniques across the majority of DESRI’s portfolio of solar assets.
The deployment of Heliolytics’ advanced technology and artificial intelligence techniques will add to DESRI’s suite of tools to proactively seek to mitigate risk and optimize the performance of its portfolio of solar assets. Heliolytics is the global leader in aerial infrared inspections and analytics for PV systems with over 18 GW serviced across more than 2,500 projects. Heliolytics’ advanced analytics utilize proprietary aircraft sensor systems and in-house artificial intelligence (AI) analysis software to detect performance faults and identify root causes.
