Clean Footprint has secured Conditional Use Permit approval from the Saline County Board for the CF IL Solar Shilo Rd, Eldorado LLC Solar + BESS Community Solar Project in Eldorado, Illinois.
The project consists of approximately 3.5 MWAC of solar PV paired with battery energy storage and is being developed as a distributed generation solar + storage project in Ameren Illinois territory. Approval followed completion of local due diligence, environmental review, and the required public hearing process.
Distributed solar paired with storage continues to play an important role in expanding grid flexibility and delivering reliable, locally sourced energy. This project reflects Clean Footprint’s continued focus on disciplined development and thoughtful integration of solar + storage assets within host communities.
