Ameresco, Inc., (NYSE: AMRC), a leading energy solutions provider dedicated to helping customers navigate the energy transition, and Matchbook Learning Schools of Indiana will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the official groundbreaking of The Match High School and Career Center.
The Match High School, serving grades 9-12, will include a new vocational facility supporting early career exploration. The project is partially funded through the U.S. Department of Energy’s $5.3 million Renew America’s Schools Grant and will incorporate a suite of energy-efficient upgrades, including a 165KW photovoltaic solar and battery energy storage system (BESS), new insulated TPO roofs, LED lighting, and high-efficiency HVAC systems.
Ameresco was selected to lead the design, engineering, and construction of the facility transformation, turning two former industrial warehouses into a modern, sustainable educational campus totaling over 54,000 square feet. The Match Career Center will feature hands-on vocational programming in construction trades, welding, engineering, and entrepreneurship, helping ensure students have clear and direct pathways to career success.
