Dino Scheit, former technical advisor to Solytic, becomes part of the cap table at the Berlin Startup becoming a new shareholder. After advising Solytic on machine learning and how to build an efficient and scalable infrastructure using Microsoft Azure, Dino now provides his expertise from the position of a shareholder continuing to help grow Solytic’s Solar platform. Dino is an expert in end to end machine learning and deep tech products serving as a consulting CTO in growth startups and Fortune 500 enterprises in the USA, Europe, and Asia. He has also supported companies such as Google, Siemens, Accenture, and Bombadier throughout his years in the tech field. As he now moves into this role at Solytic, Dino finds himself with a product that has been worked on diligently since the start of his advisory for Solytic in 2019, and one with a serious future within the renewables industry.

“Since 2019, I have been part of Solytic’s success story as an advisor, providing my experience with building AI products. Now, the right time has come for me to take the next step and join the team as an operational shareholder,” Dino states regarding his new role at Solytic, “At the end of the day I didn’t invest into Solytic just because it is a success, but because it looks to me like the potential to bridge the gab between sophisticated data operation models and a bunch of dumb machines.”

Coming into a more hands-on role with the company, Dino will work closely within the technical side of the product, using his knowledge in AI and machine learning to further the progress of the software. Dino hopes to continue the growth of the company, aiming to expand upon the 140,000 assets under management to millions within the next couple of years. Dino also looks to automate the entire value chain after a solar PV is installed to ensure top performance, as well as further develop Solytic’s digital twin, a concept developed by NASA. By doing so, the new shareholder will look to create a digital assistant to take care of large residential or commercial & industrial solar PV portfolios in order to find the optimal needs of each individual system to ensure the PV works to the best of its ability.
