Silfab, which has operated PV factories in both Italy and Canada, purchased the Bellingham, Washington factory of U.S. module maker ITEK in 2018. Silfab is building a second module factory at an undisclosed location in the United States, which will have an initial capacity of 150 MW, and will produce modules using metal wrap through (MWT) technology.
