The Fronius USA Solution Management focuses on specific products and solutions for US solar customers and
includes Product Management, Product Lifecycle Support, Codes & Standards, Services as well as Software
Development. Based in the Bay Area, the team works closely with customers to develop future products and
solutions and taps into the innovative spirit of the Silicon Valley.
The recently opened office in South San Francisco shows Fronius' strong commitment to the US market, which
has become the single biggest and most important global market for Fronius. “We are proud of our dedicated

For the last three years, Michael Mendik was working for SMA America as General Manager Technology. He
grew their technology organization for North America and drove the development of products for the residential,
commercial, storage and utility scale segments. Before that, Michael was General Manager for ABB and gained
extensive experience in Product Management and Business Development.
Michael Mendik has a MBA in General Management from Robert Morris University (Pittsburgh, PA), and a
Doctorate in Physics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich.
